Based in the Dundrum Village Centre in Dublin, Churchtown School of Music provides music classes in classical and popular genres from beginners to diploma levels. The school communicates with a wide audience from children to teachers to parents and music interest. The School required an identity that would resonate with many tastes.
The design influences in the Churchtown School of Music identity come from different eras and styles, ranging from archive engravings of musical instruments found in 18th century music books to music symbols and notation and the Möllenstädt designed font family Formata® with its old style figures and wide range of weights.
Design outcome. A distinctive look and feel, a new Logo, stationery suite, and a coherent image across social media, advertising and print promotion that creates recognition for the music school while building awareness of Churchtown School of Music among its key target audiences.
